We don’t really feature video games here but a recent press release of game studio Eidos-Montreal showcasing their re-imagining of global cities as part of the universe for their game called Deus Ex, was too good not to share.
These images depict the dystopian state of major cities across the globe in 2029 as re-imagined by the studio’s artists. These are all visions of what these city might become in the future. The overall tone of the Deus Ex game is dark, hence the need for the re-imaginings to fit with the game but despite that, the portrayal and attention to detail is powerful and stunning. At the risk of going full-on nerd and without further adieu, take a look for yourself.
