My research focuses on the Arctic climate system, especially the interactions between Arctic storm systems with the surface (i.e., the ocean, sea ice, and snow cover). I use a combination of remote sensing techniques, atmospheric reanalyses, and climate models to improve our understanding of the physical processes that govern these interactions and how these relationships are changing in response to global warming. I am currently a research associate at the Centre for Earth Observation Science at the University of Manitoba. Prior to that, I was a visiting assistant professor in the Earth Sciences Department at the College of Wooster.
